MMU commissioned a range of surveys to inform their intended sale of the Fields. These were carried out during October / November 2019 and the resulting reports were finalised between March and June 2020. They included:
- Phase 1 and 2 Geoenvironmental site assessment
- Topographical Surveys
- Flood risk assessment and drainage strategy
- Preliminary Arboricultural assessment
- Preliminary Ecological appraisal
- Archaeological report
- Utilities report
The reports were all originally published on MMUs website but are no longer available there. They may all be viewed and downloaded below, along with a two page summary of key concerns raised by the reports that we compiled ourselves. These surveys will need to be repeated ahead of any planning process, and the need for further more in-depth investigations is referred to the reports themselves, and in communications on them from official bodies including Manchester Council.
